A focused review of an active embedded software architecture to identify structural weaknesses, interface risks, and design assumptions that may be increasing integration, verification, or certification difficulty.

Architecture problems in embedded systems rarely remain isolated design concerns. When key structural decisions are unclear, brittle, or poorly aligned with system constraints, the consequences tend to appear later as integration instability, weak diagnosability, unnecessary verification burden, difficult change control, and recurring implementation confusion. This workshop is intended to provide an experienced external view of an architecture already in motion, before those issues become more expensive to address.

This engagement is appropriate when a team is seeing recurring integration friction, growing design complexity, unstable interfaces, or increasing difficulty explaining how the software is intended to behave and be verified. It is also useful when the architecture appears functional on the surface, but there is reason to question whether it will remain maintainable and defensible as development continues.

Half-day scope

A half-day workshop is appropriate for a tightly bounded question: one subsystem, one interface region, one partitioning concern, or one area of known architectural strain. The purpose at this level is to surface the principal risks in that limited scope and determine whether the current approach appears fundamentally sound or likely to create downstream trouble.

Typical half-day activities may include:

Half-day price: $2,350

Full-day scope

A full-day workshop is better when the review needs to consider broader structure, multiple concerns, or several stakeholder perspectives. This format allows deeper examination of interfaces, software partitioning, failure handling, diagnosability, maintainability, and the ways in which architectural assumptions may be increasing verification or certification difficulty.

Typical full-day activities may include:

Full-day price: $3,600

This workshop is not intended as a full redesign effort. It is a structured technical checkup meant to identify where the current architecture may be creating avoidable downstream cost, instability, or assurance difficulty.
